On Al Jazeera Inside Story: What’s the cost to privacy in our connected lives?

An extraordinary array of gadgets are on display at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, both technologies already on the market and ones that will be soon. The future is a more connected one based on a constant data exchange. Have we signed off our rights to privacy in the name of convenience?  Gry Hasselbalch’s answer is no in this panel discussion on Al Jazeera’s Inside Story.  We cannot sign off our rights to privacy as they are enshrined in our laws and conventions. Developers of new mobile technologies need to find a way to build in privacy and data ethics in their products.
