About Gry Hasselbalch:

An advisor on data ethics and the social implications of technologies, Gry Hasselbalch is also the co founder and member of the board of Dataethics.eu. She is the author of the book Data Ethics – The New Competitive Advantage. Member of the IEEE Global Initiative for Ethical Considerations in the Design of Autonomous Systems and ISOC’s ethical data handling expert group. Her experience in European Internet policy and digital rights includes the role as an independent expert for the European Commission and 10 years in the pan-EU network Insafe. She started the ’privacy as innovation’ – series of debates and network at the UN Internet Governance Forum. She is behind several studies, articles and reports on digital challenges and consumer awareness.
