About Gry Hasselbalch:

An advisor on data ethics and the social implications of technologies, Gry Hasselbalch is also the co founder of the thinkdotank She is the author of the book Data Ethics – The New Competitive Advantage. Long time committee member of the IEEE Global Initiative for Ethical Considerations in the Design of Autonomous Systems and Vice Chair of the IEEE P7006 standard for personal data AI agents. Her experience in European Internet policy and digital rights includes the role as an independent expert for the European Commission and 10 years in the pan-EU network Insafe. She started the ’privacy as innovation’ – series of debates and network at the UN Internet Governance Forum. She is behind several studies, articles and reports on digital challenges and consumer awareness.
